Is stamped concrete slippery?
The texture gives stamped concrete more grip than a smooth finish. For pool areas, steps and slopes we add a non-slip additive to the sealer as well.

Stamped concrete for driveways, patios and pathways in a range of colours and patterns. Choose a pattern and colour, and let our Sunshine Coast concrete experts finish your project with style.
In short
Stamped concrete presses texture and profile into a slab while it is still green, so the finished surface reads as stone, slate, tile or timber with the strength of one continuous pour. Sunshine Coast Concrete Services applies stamped finishes to driveways, patios, alfresco areas and pathways across the Sunshine Coast, QLD, then seals them.

05 — Overview
Stamped concrete presses texture and profile into the surface while the slab is still green, so the finished result reads as stone, slate, tile or timber — with the strength, continuity and low maintenance of a single pour.
Pick your pattern and colour combination and we handle the rest. It suits new pours across driveways, patios, alfresco areas, pool surrounds and pathways, and feature inlays are possible where you want a centrepiece.

Base colour plus release tones for depth, rather than one flat shade.
Borders, banding and inlaid features where the space calls for a centrepiece.
Sealed to hold the colour and texture against sun and traffic.

Stamped concrete is pressed with textured mats to look like stone, slate or timber; stencil uses a paper pattern to leave flat grout lines like pavers or tiles. See stamped vs stencil.
Hose it down regularly, use a mild detergent for marks, and re-seal every two to five years — sooner in full sun or under heavy traffic.
