04 — Overview
Resurfacing lays a brand-new decorative surface over concrete you already have. Instead of demolition and a re-pour, sound existing slabs are cleaned, prepared and re-coated in the colour and pattern of your choice — driveways, patios, paths, pool surrounds and garage floors.
It is the fastest way to lift a tired grey slab, and it hides previous repairs and the joins between slabs. The existing concrete does need to be structurally sound, and we'll tell you honestly at the quote if it isn't.

Yes, if the cracks are fine and stable — they are cut, filled and absorbed into the new pattern. Wide, displaced or growing cracks mean the base has moved, and coating over them only cracks the new surface. See resurface or replace?.
As long as the slab underneath and the preparation allow. The decorative surface is protected by sealer, which needs renewing every two to five years depending on sun and traffic. See the sealing guide.
