Privacy Policy
What we collect when you ask us for a quote, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it.
We only collect the information we need to quote and carry out concreting work, and we handle it in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what that means in practice.
Who we are
This policy applies to Sunshine Coast Concrete Services, a division of Creative Concrete Constructions, and to this website. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you request a quote, call us or submit a form, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, the suburb and address of the property, and the details of the work you are asking about. We also collect photos or plans you choose to send us.
If you only browse the site, we may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed and how you arrived, through standard web server logs and analytics.
Why we collect it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare and deliver a quote, schedule and carry out work, invoice you, and keep records of jobs we have completed. We may also use it to follow up on a quote you have not responded to.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who we disclose it to
We may share your details with people who need them to deliver your job — for example concrete suppliers, decorative coating suppliers, subcontractors, engineers or certifiers. We may also disclose information to our accountants, insurers or advisers, or where we are required to by law.
Some of the services we use to run this website (such as hosting and analytics providers) may store data outside Australia.
Cookies and analytics
This website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including limiting who can see quote and job records. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as completely secure.
We keep records for as long as we need them for the job, our warranty obligations and our tax and legal record-keeping requirements, then destroy or de-identify them.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us on 0404 859 045 or at quotes@sunshinecoastconcreteservices.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we will investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date it was last updated shown alongside.
